1. Terms of use

These terms apply to trynex.dev, TRYNEX ID and related first-party TRYNEX services. By creating an account or using an authenticated feature, you agree to these terms. Browsing public pages does not transfer ownership of any TRYNEX material to you.

2. Service status

TRYNEX is under active development. Features may change, be temporarily unavailable or be discontinued. We work to keep the service secure and available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in methods secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not abuse the service, bypass security controls, impersonate others, automate harmful traffic, harass users, distribute malware or use TRYNEX for unlawful activity.

• One person may control multiple legitimate accounts, but fake or disposable accounts may be removed.
• Public profile, friends, presence and activity remain subject to the privacy settings selected by each user.
• Accounts that create a security or abuse risk may be limited or suspended.

4. Licence and intellectual property

TRYNEX grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose. TRYNEX names, logos, design, original text and media remain protected. You may not copy, sell or present them as your own without permission. Software or source code published under a separate open-source licence remains governed by that licence.

5. External services

Optional sign-in and profile connections may use Google, Discord, GitHub or Steam. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you choose those services. TRYNEX requests only the scopes needed for the selected feature and never asks for your provider password.

6. Responsibility and changes

To the extent permitted by law, TRYNEX is provided as available and is not liable for indirect losses caused by outages, third-party services or misuse. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. Material changes will be dated on this page and, where appropriate, communicated in the service.

1. Privacy policy

TRYNEX processes only the data needed to operate accounts, security, profiles, friends and connected services. The TRYNEX project acts as the controller for data processed directly by its first-party services.

2. Data we process

Depending on the features you use, this may include:

• TRYNEX ID, display name, verified email, optional recovery email and profile media.
• Password verifier, passkeys, two-factor settings, sessions and security events. Plain-text passwords, one-time codes and provider tokens are not shown in account pages or logs.
• Provider identifiers for Google, Discord, GitHub and Steam when you connect them.
• Friends, blocks, public-profile choices, presence and activity shared according to your settings.
• Pseudonymised security metadata such as IP and browser information used to prevent abuse.

3. Why we use data

We use data to provide requested services and accounts, protect users and the platform, remember settings, respond to requests, comply with law and improve reliability. Depending on the situation, processing is based on performance of the service, legitimate security interests, consent or a legal obligation.

4. Processors and transfers

TRYNEX does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by infrastructure and delivery providers such as Cloudflare and Resend, and by a provider you deliberately connect. These services may process data in other countries under their contractual and legal safeguards. Payment providers will be added to this policy before paid subscriptions launch.

5. Retention and security

Account data is kept while the account is active and as needed for security, dispute handling and legal duties. Deletion requests are handled through TRYNEX ID; limited records or backups may remain temporarily where required for security or recovery. TRYNEX uses encrypted connections, restricted access, hashed passwords, protected session cookies and security auditing.

6. Your choices and rights

You can edit profile and privacy settings, disconnect providers, export account data and request account deletion in TRYNEX ID. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, restriction, objection or portability, and complain to a competent data-protection authority.

1. Cookie policy

TRYNEX currently uses first-party functional cookies only. They remember an explicit language choice, protect authentication flows and keep signed-in sessions. They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

2. Consent

The language cookie is written after you select a language, and authentication cookies are necessary for the sign-in service you request. A separate consent banner is therefore not shown for these functional cookies. If optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies are introduced, TRYNEX will ask first and make refusal as easy as acceptance.

3. Your controls

You can remove or block cookies in browser settings. Blocking the language cookie means the first page returns to English; blocking authentication cookies prevents sign-in and account features from working.
